How to Save Money and Spend Less Than Your Competitors

Save Your cash , spend less -  Oh, the dreaded 'B' word! No, not THAT 'B' word I'm referring to is the BUDGET 'B' word. The formula for determining profit is a really simple one and the one that all budgets are based upon I call it  Cash in - Cash out = Cash profit , in business and accounting terms  Income - Expenses = Profit.

It is not that  complicated and you don't need to be an accounting wizzard or  rocket scientist to figure out that there are two ways of improving  your profit; (1)  Increase Cash in " increase income"  or (2) Decrease Cash out "decrease expenses". If you can figure out how to do both simultaneously that would be a great cash formula  please let me know how  or share it share it with us here  .

It would be really nice if we could just crank up the burners and make more cash , wouldn't it? Unfortunately increasing income is much harder than decreasing expenses when it comes to improving your bottom line. There are many advantages for working at home , it comes with  some built in savings right from the get go  for instance:

1.   You don't have to buy  that expensive gasoline to get to and from work.

2.   You don't have to keep your working wardrobe up to date you keep that cash for yourself .

3.   You can eat at your kitchen table your homemdae sandwitch for lunch instead of going out .

all of these are good Cash-saving things that just come with the territory when you work at home.

There are, however, some other measures that you can take to help decrease your work at home expenses. Here are some Cashs saving ideas:

Idea #1: Don't spend your hard earned cash or the cash you have allocated for your home business on every  software  out there related to your business. Most of us work at home entreprentue and work at hom moms tend to be software junkie . We simply  LOVE all kinds of software,  before we know it we end up with so many software than we need or even can use.

Idea #2: Don't spend money on  bigger programs than your  business might need. many times frequently programs that help us achieve and complete  the necessary tasks are offered in various sizes. Your business plan might have allowed for one hundred emplyees by the the second or third years in business , but that does not mean you need to buy the software to manage a hundreds employees this year. You can always upgrade when the time comes. Today you need to save as much cash as you can  go only with that you need today.

Idea #3: Don't spend the cash you set aside for advertising unnecessarly . So many times new entrepreneurs  being so anxious to get going and start making money immediately , will start out running PPC advertising campain . They will choose every single key word and phrase possible and then let the PPC advertisements run 24/7. This is a huge waste of advertising cash. Online business is just like any other business, it takes time to start making money and that could up weeks, moths and possibly a year.

Read the statistics that are provided to you by search engines and direct your advertisements to only appear in search results under very controlled circumstances and only during specific hours. It isn't hard to run up a PPC bill of up to  several thousand dollars in a very short period of time and possiblly not make a single sale in the process.

Idea #4: Hold on to most of your cash especially at the beginning stages by taking  full advantage of free advertising  that are available on the internet to build your business and your credibility. There are free ways to advertise that are as effective as Paid advertising like PPC paid-for advertising in E-zines and newsletters.

Idea #5: Sign up with a good flat-rate long distance telephone service. The internet is a worldwide place of business and it isn't hard to run up a long distance bill of hundreds if not thousand dollars in no time . A flat-rate long distance telephone service can save you a lot of money over time.

The bottom line here is to remember the formula for determining profit; Cash in  (Income) - cash out (Expenses) = (Cash profit )Profit.

It's great to increase income when you can but you can always find ways to decrease expenses if you look for them. When you spend less, you make more and that will blow your competitors away!
